You will be introduced to the elements and principles of basic design. Part history lesson and part art class, you will learn about design in the world we live in (the good and the bad). Through the study of typography, design concepts, and design problem-solving, you will learn about visual communication to create and finesse a design—working through the creative process with a final product in mind. Using browser based illustration, photo-editing, and design tools, we’ll work through basic design projects as well as view and discuss a variety of professional work samples.
