Deborah Golden Alecson, M.S. is a retired professor in the field of thanatology (death, dying, and bereavement). She taught for the Schools of Health Science, Nursing, and Humanities at Excelsior College. In addition to the courses she taught, she developed a course in medical
humanities for Excelsior College which she also taught prior to her retirement.
