Susannah Anderson is a Norfolk-based artist whose current work explores the dialectic between control and freedom. In acrylic paintings that range in size from 4 inches to 6.5. feet, Susannah draws from a constellation of sources—figures, nature, domestic and industrial scenes—and invites viewers to step into environments uncertain. Each painting is an offer to look closely, to wonder, to question. Susannah holds a BFA from Philadelphia’s erstwhile University of the Arts.
