BAILEN is a songwriting-forward, indie pop, folk-rock band that has captivated audiences with their musical dynamism and the three-part “blood harmony” of siblings Julia (guitar), Daniel (bass), and David (drums). The trio was raised by two freelance classical musicians in New York City who steeped them in Rock & Roll and Brahms. Their close familial bond is evident in their tight-knit musical arrangements and rich, emotive harmonies.
The group has released two studio albums, Thrilled to Be Here (2019), produced by John Congelton, and Tired Hearts (2023), produced by Brad Cook. Both albums showcase their knack for crafting infectious melodies and introspective lyrics, earning them critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base.
