Make a collage about a place...any place, real or imagined, urban or rural, interior or exterior, abstract or representational, from a map or from a memory. This adult workshop is for all levels -- beginner, experienced, and anywhere in between. A variety of papers, textures, colors, magazines and other materials will be provided. You can also feel free to bring along some favorite materials to use for your collage. Collage artists Laura Cannamela and Sandy Dwileski will lead the workshop and present examples of a variety of approaches to suggest place though collage design, composition, color, and imagery.
