This hike is a loop on Field Farm’s North Trail that will include the Caves Trail. Expect flat terrain that is great for all skill levels and is family friendly.
Field Farm is a nature preserve in South Williamstown owned and managed by the Trustees of Reservations. Rural Lands holds a conservation restriction (CR) on part of the property that includes a series of caves and ledges along the Caves Trail. This hike will take you through Field Farm’s varied landscape: through active farmland, upland forest, rock ledges, and even swamp!
