Learn to make simple soft slab vessels. Using texture and layered clay, we will create impressions of the winter landscape. In addition, we will step through a multitude of surface decorations including printing, paper and wax resist, sgraffito and more. Our inspiration will come from contemporary ceramic artists such as Craig Underhill and Anna Lambert. Beginners are welcome! Students should use White or Red Clay in this class.
