This four-week course will introduce the intermediate guitarist to all the basics of fingerstyle playing. Fingerpicking is mostly done in two ways: either to accompany singing or a melody instrument such as the fiddle with various picking patterns, or in a solo instrumental context where the fingers play a melody over a steady bass line played by the thumb.
