Courtney’s unique work, an interplay between traditional weaving and contemporary design, is done on the artist’s handmade frame looms in her Hudson Valley studio. “The frame loom, with its simple yet versatile structure, allows me to express the tactile qualities of fiber while celebrating the beauty in repetition and the meditative process of hand-weaving.”
