Author Rachel Kadish will discuss her critically acclaimed novel The Weight of Ink, winner of the National Jewish Book Award and excerpts from a theatrical adaptation being developed by Kate Kohler Amory and Tamara Hickey. Letty Cottin Pogrebin will moderate the talk-back. The Weight of Ink, winner of the Jewish National Book Award, tells the story of two historians uncovering the secret history of a young Jewish woman living in London in the 1660s, and features alternating storylines set in the 21st and 17th centuries.
