Uncle Vance is based on Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, but this time the action takes place at a country estate in today’s Berkshires, where the perpetually feuding family are trying to save their theatre company. Lively, full-blooded contemporary versions of Chekhov's characters go at one another with wit and passion until growing family tensions and the company's financial crisis force a showdown. The cast will include Rory Hammond, Paula Langton, Susannah Millonzi, Ken Cheeseman, Ryan Winkles, Jim Nutter, and Michael Hammond.
