Litchfield Performing Arts' mission is to bring together a racially, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse group of young people, educating and inspiring them to become confident, creative, expressive adults through the vehicle of jazz music and the performing arts. Our goal is, further, to share the passion and magic of jazz, America’s original music, educating, entertaining and expanding its reach to regional and far-flung audiences of all ages.
Since 1981, Litchfield Performing arts has been promoting arts throughout Connecticut starting with living room concerts and eventually producing the Litchfield Jazz Camp, Litchfield Jazz Festival and many other programs serving the wider community, especially its youth.
Launched in 2018 in Berkshire County, Zeitcaster is an online platform that centralizes local event listings to foster community connections, helping residents and tourists discover public outings while boosting visibility for venues, organizations, and historic sites. Our calendar features a range of cultural, recreational, and family-friendly events to cater to diverse lifestyles. Designed for both venue operators and attendees, Zeitcaster supports tourism, economic growth, and civic pride—helping great events find the audiences they deserve.
