On the corners of West 10th Street and Seventh Ave, in the heart of Greenwich Village, are Smalls and Mezzrow Jazz Club. We are dedicated to Jazz music, Jazz musicians and Jazz culture. Smalls Jazz Club was founded in 1994 and has been a perennial hangout for "the cats" 7 days a week, 7 til 4am every night.
Mezzrow, on the other hand, is a more austere listening salon focusing on Jazz piano. In September of 2007, Spike Wilner, the owner of smalls decided to record and document every performance at Smalls. We are one of the very first clubs to stream shows live on our website at no cost, internationally.
