The Williamstown Theatre Festival is not happening in the summer of 2026. The Tony Award-winning institution announced a new long-term model shifting to a biennial schedule. Instead of hosting a traditional summer season, the festival is taking the year off to focus on long-term sustainability, research, and year-round programming.
