Come celebrate dance at Williams with a “double the fun” spring concert featuring faculty-led Dance Department ensembles Kusika and CoDa in a robust shared program. African dance, music, and storytelling traditions old and new, from the continent and Diaspora, are woven throughout the works offered by Kusika, co-directed by Sandra Burton and Tendai Muparutsa. The performance will close with “Mbakumba,” a traditional Zimbabwean dance staged by guest artist Kunukai Chigamba.
