What is shadow work?
Shadow work focuses on the parts of ourselves that have yet to be illuminated. It focuses on diving into what we identify as harmful, shameful, or dark. Though intense these pieces can be potentially enlightening. I like to say, “I took my pain and from it art poured through every crevasse of my being.” Art, release, energy are all intertwined as one. When we fear the darker aspects of ourselves it gives power and control to these pieces. Shadow work is about taking your power back. Loving and playing with the entirety of your being!
